Harengon notes
Temptal 23rd, 6528
An unexpected opportunity has fallen into my lap. A Feyling, of the lapin variety, has sought me out for aid. It seems a power resides within her she cannot control. I told her that all things are within the control of those with a strong and well-practiced will. This seemed to suade her. It is typical of one so young and naïve to think it was her will I referred to.

While still early stages, experiments have been promising. They have been grueling for her, but she has been an obedient subject and well withstood the rigors of data gathering. Despite her Fey nature, I feel she does not stand out overmuch in Fleetwood. She is determined, and driven. She would remind me of myself were she not my research.
Much work still to do.
Harvest 10th, 6529
The Feyling has become impatient with her progress. I have not let it show, but I have as well. She interprets this as my failing more than hers, and I fear she is correct. There is a wildness to her magic that I struggle to comprehend. Perhaps my people lost something when they sailed from the Gleaming Sea for Perrinor. We gained much of course, and live a more civilized life than we once did, but there is something to be said for the Old Ways.
To that point, I believe some ancient wisdom I have recently discovered could be the breakthrough I need. The giants, while crude, had a true gem in their runecraft. A small modification to my Blinds could be enough to discipline the Feyling. I must hold her here until the work is ready.
Evenchill 2nd, 6529
The latest iteration of Blind has been a moderate success. She was desperate enough that she placed it on herself without much inquiry. At last, some quiet.
The revised Blind is expensive, and fiddlesome, but the extra regulation it affords is necessary. With her as an agent, I have some degree of control over when the bursts occur. The next problem is which.

With the convention fast approaching, I fear I will not be at an ideal stage to demonstrate the Feyling’s abilities. There is so much to plan. The world is blessed with my quality of genius while I alone am cursed by its quantity.
I cannot push her and lose this rare resource. A limited trial may be all I can manage. Even a taste of her power will sell.

The band of ruffians has proven capable, while frustrating. I could use their skills. In the worst case, the Feyling may afford me some protection if it comes to it.
