Last session, our heroes gazed into the Widow Seer’s crystal, gaining a vision of Mana, Maho’s mom. She was sneaking into some kind of large building in an unknown Bismarck Empire city (to clarify from the history roll last session, the architecture does not seem the most outdated, and you know Wichthafen has been abandoned for a couple hundred years at least). She crept through over-lit corridors until she reached a curtained-off, pitch black hallway. At the end of it was some kind of open chamber, difficult to make out in the dark. Although at least a dozen white, porcelain faces could be made out below, attached to nominally humanoid bodies. One of the faces looked directly at the party, and Mana gripped her sword, ducked back into the hallway, and the connection broke.

The party discussed theories about what Mana had found, and how these creatures, reminiscent of hauntings in Wichthafen, ended up in a Central Command building wearing Lucien Blinds. Elias then dropped that he and Ash had been talking, and he needs to go back to the Nor’Southern Isles and handle the situation post-Kogar. They cooked up a plan for Elias to disguise himself as Kogar with the help of Ana’s final lesson, and Elias passed off his items, including officially giving Jarles to Heph and the Amulet of Wind to Maho.

Darryl offered to help fare everyone’s way home, Elias and Ash through Ivalgo with a hope of potentially finding Mort and doing something about the invasion fleet. And so, Elias headed off with Ash, ready to run towards his new life.
